Endless drills. Copied answers. New problem? Stuck again.
Drilling without direction
The worksheets pile up, but nobody knows which gap to fill. Check the answer key after a mistake, and all they’ve learned is that one problem.
New problem → the same old trap
One size fits nobody
The same worksheet for everyone: kids who get it are bored, kids who don’t just grind through.
New problem → bored, or ready to quit
Asking AI for the answer
Every step is right there. Copy it down, and it looks like learning.
But the AI did the thinking.
New problem → no AI, stuck at step one

Level 2Picture a piggy bank: how much did the 8 games cost?
Level 2There’s $5 left in the bank. How much did the Lego sets bring in?
Level 3Is the money that went in more or less than $160?
Level 2A basketball game has 4 quarters, each 1/4 of the game. How many quarters in 1 whole game?
Level 3And in 2 whole games?
Level 3Add the 2 quarters in the half game. How many in all?
Level 2Call the pre-tax price x. After the 5% tax, what does x become?
Level 3If the price were $100, what would 5% tax be?

03 Practice with Omi
When they’re stuck, Omi gives just enough.
Omi is your child’s AI math coach, built on scaffolding, a well-established teaching approach. Each time your child says something, Omi works out where they’re stuck, then offers just enough help for the next step. Every hint draws on teaching material organized by skill.

05 FAQ
Questions parents ask
How is this different from ChatGPT or photo-solver apps?
Those are built to hand over a complete solution: snap a photo or type a question, and the answer and every step are right there. Owl Mind works the other way. Omi listens to how your child is thinking first, gives just enough of a nudge when they’re stuck, and guides them to reach the answer on their own.
What grades is it for, and how long each day?
Grades 2 through 9. Your child starts at the level that fits and moves on as they master each skill. Each practice session takes about 10 minutes.
Does it line up with what my child learns at school?
The knowledge map draws on the official math curricula of the US, Australia, Hong Kong and mainland China, covering elementary through middle school: number and operations, fractions and decimals, ratio and proportion, algebra, geometry and measurement, and statistics and probability. Each region teaches the same skill in a different grade, so the map doesn’t follow any one textbook. It’s laid out by how skills build on each other — wherever your child is in class, there’s a matching spot on the map.
Won’t kids just keep asking for hints until the AI gives in?
Omi never just tells them the answer. When your child asks for a hint, Omi first asks how they’re thinking about it, then offers one small step — and the last step is always theirs. As they catch on, Omi steps back. Over time, they learn what to ask when they’re stuck, instead of waiting for the answer.
Do I need to pay?
Sign up free. Everything is free while we’re in beta. After that, a month of practice, anytime and anywhere, costs less than a single tutoring session.
Will there be other subjects?
Yes. We’re starting with math, with logic and reading to follow. The goal stays the same: kids who think for themselves.
